Supply Nation, formerly AIMSC provides a direct business-2-business purchasing link between corporate Australia, government agencies and Indigenous-owned businesses. In effect, Supply Nation identifies Corporate and Government agencies willing to make a formal dollar-based commitment to purchasing Indigenous Products and Services and to certify Indigenous Business Suppliers and to encourage business transactions between the groups.

This supplier diversity creates opportunities for minority owned SMEs to compete in the supply chain of large companies.

The concept was born in Chicago USA in the 1970s and has since grown internationally with similar business models now found around the world. As the capacity building arm of the model, the NSWICC feeds the Indigenous supply chain by identifying and building the capacity of Indigenous Businesses and then referring them to Supply Nation for certification.

Supply nation is a not-for-profit company, and is a membership body for Australian companies and government departments.
