The NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce is an initiative aimed at supporting Indigenous people who are by choice, creating their own self determination through the establishment and development of viable Enterprises in their Communities. In doing this Indigenous people are "closing the gap" on disadvantage in their own communities.
As the capacity building arm of the Indigenous Business Sector the work of Indigenous Chambers of Commerce is under resourced.
Government and the Corporate Sector across all Industries and at all levels publically recognise the work of the Chambers as being essential to the success of Australia's current agenda which is to increase the Indigenous Supply Chain and the procurement of Indigenous Products and Services.
Our Partner Sponsors play an important role in achieving our vision and in enhancing our outcomes by sharing their experience, expertise and their resources. Reciprosity is central to our Culture and so in return the NSWICC promotes and supports our Partner Sponsors by providing opportunities to work with and engage Business Ready Indigenous Suppliers and by supporting Indigenous incentives within their Company or Agency.
If your Company or Agency is interested in empowering Indigenous Communities and understands the importance of Being in Control of one's own destiny then please contact the Chairperson, Debbie Barwick to discuss our Sponsorship and Partnerships Opportunities.
